Setting Rate Sheets

Configure billing rates for time, travel, and mileage.

You quote a carrier $150 per hour and 50 percent travel. You quote a public adjuster $185 per hour and full rate on travel. Six months from now you cannot remember which carrier got which rate, and now you have to look up old invoices to find out. Every time you eyeball a rate from memory you risk underbilling.

A rate sheet is the contract codified into your invoice math. Hourly rate, travel percentage, mileage rate, all of it computed automatically when the invoice generates. You stop second guessing whether you billed the right number and start billing the right number every time.

Useful for everyone who bills hourly. Most useful for appraisers juggling multiple negotiated rates with different clients, where the cognitive cost of remembering which rate applies to which file is highest.
