Appraisal-Specific Coverages
Create one-off coverages for specific appraisals.
Every once in a while a policy has an endorsement or a coverage line that you have never seen before and will probably never see again. A "Spoiled Food Coverage" rider on a high-end home policy, a one-off scheduled item, a state-specific debris allowance. You need it on this award, but you do not want it cluttering up your library dropdown for the next two hundred cases.
If your only option is to add everything to the library, your dropdown turns into a graveyard of one-time coverages and finding the common ones takes longer. If your only option is to use what is already in the library, you end up shoehorning the unusual coverage into a label that does not quite fit, and the award letter reads wrong.
Appraisal-specific coverages give you a third path. Type the unusual label directly on the award item, use it for this case only, and your library stays clean. If you later decide it is worth keeping, one click promotes it to the library for future use.
