Dropbox Sign for E-Signatures

Use Dropbox Sign as an alternative to SignWell for electronic signatures on award letters and panel declarations.

You probably already pay for an e-signature service, and you have probably already negotiated a price you like with it. Forcing you onto a single signature vendor inside AwardLettr would mean a second bill, a second login your assistant has to learn, and a second set of completed-document folders to keep in sync.

Dropbox Sign is the alternative path. If your firm or your Dropbox plan already includes signature credits, you can plug those into AwardLettr instead of paying twice. The signing experience for the opposing appraiser is identical to SignWell, the signed PDF still lands in your Documents folder, and your appraisal automatically advances to Working on Report once everyone has signed.

This is the right pick if you already use Dropbox Sign in your practice, if your Dropbox subscription bundles signature requests, or if you want to A/B test both providers before standardizing on one.

Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign) is an alternative e-signature provider you can use in AwardLettr alongside or instead of SignWell. Both services support the same core signing workflow: send for signature, track progress, and receive the signed document when all parties complete.

Using Dropbox Sign Alongside SignWell

If both SignWell and Dropbox Sign are configured, you can choose which provider to use each time you send a document for signature. This lets you evaluate both services before committing to one.

Test Mode

Dropbox Sign supports test mode so you can verify the integration without using real signature credits. Use a test API key during setup and switch to production when ready.
