Calendar View and Drag-and-Drop Rescheduling

Rescheduling an inspection usually means opening the appraisal, finding the date field, picking a new time, sending a new email to the opposing appraiser, sending a new email to the insured, and updating your personal calendar so you don't double-book the old slot. Five steps for what is, in your head, a one-step decision: "move this from Tuesday to Wednesday."

The calendar view collapses that decision back down to one action. You see the week, you grab the inspection, you drop it where it should go. Notifications go out, the connected Google or Outlook calendar updates, the appraisal record updates, and you move on. The map view does the same thing for the question "do these three inspections actually make sense as a day?" which is harder to answer from a list and trivial to answer when you see the pins. Both views help anyone running a busy week, and they're especially useful when a last-minute conflict forces you to rebuild a day on the fly.

The Calendar page shows all your scheduled inspections in a visual format. You can toggle between Calendar and Map views, and easily reschedule by dragging appointments to new times.

Calendar vs. Map Toggle

Use the Calendar/Map toggle at the top of the page to switch between views. The Calendar view shows a traditional timeline, while the Map view displays color-coded pins on a Google Map showing where your inspections are located geographically.

• Month View - See your entire month at a glance

Map View Features

• Blue pins for carrier appraisals, green for insured, amber for umpire
• Solid pins indicate scheduled inspections, outlined pins are unscheduled
• Filter dropdown to show Scheduled, Unscheduled, or All inspections
• Hover over a pin to see appraisal details (insured name, claim number, status)
• Click a pin to navigate directly to the appraisal detail page
• Legend in the bottom-left corner explains the pin colors and styles
